The Government Information Center (GIC) provides access to award-winning government service through our web portal – miamidade.gov – and the 3-1-1 Answer Center, the nation's first multi-jurisdictional call center for non-emergency government services.

Miami-Dade TV, the county’s government access cable station, provides live broadcasts of Board of County Commissioners meetings, as well as informational programming about county government services.  Miami-Dade TV programs and features can be viewed anytime on  Watch It On-Demand.

Live webcasts of the Board of County Commissioners are also available online through our Webcasting service.

Our portal also offers a centralized event listing where all official government meetings and a wide variety of cultural and recreational events are listed on The County Calendar.
