Report neighborhood issues with 311Direct mobile App
311Direct enables users to request services and report neighborhood problems or code violations directly to Miami-Dade County’s 311 Contact Center, whose knowledgeable staff will begin processing the requested repair or improvement. The App can be downloaded for free on the Apple App Store.
New 311 Hub citizen relationship management system earns accolades
Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government Innovation in Amrican Government Award recognizes public sector organizations that develop novel and effective approaches to solving community issues. Miami-Dade County's new 311 Hub earned distinction by being named a 2015 semifinalist. Developed in-house, the 311 Hub supports the 311 Contact Center operation.
Miami-Dade wins three top creative awards
Miami-Dade County public education campaigns have once again earned industry honors normally reserved for advertising agencies, public relations firms and production companies.
In the annual competition, Communications' Instagram site and campaigns for Water and Sewer, and Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces took top honors.
311 Celebrates 10th Anniversary
In 2005, 3-1-1 officially launched to the public as the nation's first multi-juristictional call center for non-emergency government information and service.
Visit a 311 Service Center
Communications operates three 311 Service Centers to provide residents with a convenient way to access County services. A staff member will be on hand to assist residents with general information, referrals and the purchase of items such as baby stroller permits, dog tags, transit passes and more.
