Notice of Workshops for Proposed Elevator Ordinance
The Miami-Dade County, Internal Services Department, Office of Elevator Safety is conducting two follow-up workshops for a proposed regulatory ordinance for elevators, escalators and other conveyance systems located within Miami-Dade County. All interested parties are invited to attend and participate, or observe.
- The first workshop is scheduled for Nov. 14 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Herbert S. Saffir Permitting and Inspection Center, 11805 SW 26 St. (Coral Way), in Meeting Room I and J.
- The second workshop is scheduled for Dec. 4 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Stephen P. Clark Center 111 NW 1 St. on the18th floor, room 18-3.
Copies of the draft proposed ordinance are available on our website or by contacting the Office of Elevator Safety at 305-375-1577, offices located at 201 West Flagler St.

Electronic Bidding Solution
We are pleased to announce that the Internal Services Department, Procurement Management Services Division has engaged Bidsync to provide electronic bidding services for our Goods and Services suppliers and contractors.
County Real Estate
Internal Services is the official custodian of County property and maintains a database of all County property. All inquiries related to County property, whether informational or requiring some action, are usually funneled through the Real Estate Section.
People with Disabilities
The Miami-Dade County Office of ADA Coordination works to bring Miami-Dade County into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and, at the same time, heightens awareness of disability issues, within County departments and the community.
Architecture & Engineering
The Professional Services Division is responsible for providing guidance to County departments on professional architectural and engineering (A&E) services, the acquisition, negotiations, and contracting of same.
Surplus Property Sales
Surplus sales services within Miami-Dade County are provided by the Administrative and Business Services Division of the Internal Services department. We sell just about everything that Miami-Dade County government uses in its operations except real property (land and buildings), consumables, and hazardous materials. This site offers information on what we sell, how we sell it, and how you, our potential customer, can participate in our sales.

Elevator Safety & Regulation
Miami-Dade County's Office of Elevator Safety is the regulatory authority having jurisdiction over all elevators, escalators, moving walks, and other conveying systems located within buildings throughout Miami-Dade County in all municipalities, except the City of Miami and City of Miami Beach. We are building our website to be more useable to the industry and the public.
Fleet Management Division, an agency of the Internal Services Department (ISD), operates 29 fueling sites throughout Miami-Dade County. It provides unleaded and diesel fuel to County owned/leased vehicles and to various other local governmental entities that have entered into a fueling agreement with Miami-Dade County.
