Miami-Dade County Hosts Downtown Harvest Market

Every Friday residents and visitors can enjoy local, sustainably-grown produce; handmade artisanal foods and crafts; green products; and much more

 

Miami-Dade County is hosting a Downtown Harvest Market every Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., in the Stephen P. Clark Center’s Courtyard, located at 111 NW 1 Street, in Miami.  Residents and visitors will have the opportunity to purchase seasonal produce directly from Miami-Dade growers, handmade artisanal foods and crafts, green products, healing arts and plants, and more.  The Market accepts cash, credit cards, debit cards and EBT.  Dollar for dollar matching is available on all EBT purchases up to $10.00. 

The Downtown Harvest Market, which launched on January 27, 2012, is made possible with funding from the Department of Health and Human Services, the Miami-Dade County Health Department and the Consortium for a Healthier Miami-Dade; and operated by Earth Learning, www.earth-learning.org, the producers of the South Miami Farmers Market.
