Small Business Administration's Trade Symposium Highlights
The SBA hosted the first ever trade symposium in the Miami area on April 7th, 2008. The Jay Malina International Trade Consortium of Miami-Dade County was one of the sponsors, and the event drew hundreds of small business owners and entrepreneurs to a sold out event at Hialeah's Milander Auditorium. >> more

Business Development Mission to Prague, Warsaw, and Istanbul: May 20th - 31st 2008
With leading global economic indicators pointing to Eastern Europe as one of the top growth regions for 2008 and into the future, Miami-Dade County's Jay Malina International Trade Consortium has announced that it will lead a 10-day mission to the Czech Republic, Poland and Turkey next May 20th. >>more

Trade Delegation from South Africa is Coming to Miami -- Dates to be Announced
As a result of our Miami-Dade Business Development Mission to South Africa in April, 2007, The Department of Trade and Investment of that county has informed our office that they will be bringing a trade delegation to our community. Mr. Iqbal Sharma, Deputy Director General of South Africa's Department of Trade and Industry, will lead the delegation which will consist of South African government economic development agency representatives, as well as private sector businesses. >> more

Save the Date: Mission to Peru & Chile is rescheduled for end September 2008
The ITC and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce will conduct a 1st ever joint mission to Lima, Peru and Santiago, Chile September 20th-27th, 2008. The mission will represent both the service as well as the merchandise trade components. Business and government meetings are currently being planned.
