Our vision is to promote and strengthen Miami-Dade County as an international trade and cultural center.

Miami-Dade County is a world class metropolitan area at the crossroads of the Western Hemisphere with a superior infrastructure for international trade; an excellent business climate; international financial services, and a rich cultural diversity which makes it the logical platform for trade with Latin America and the Caribbean.

The ITC Board of directors approved at its September 10th meeting that Japan and Taiwan will be next countries for an ITC-Led mission in 2009. The country selection is part of ITC's Asian Trade Initiatives that develops and expands trade and cultural linkages with Asia. The mission dates are to be announced shortly. The Sister Cities annual art exhibit is scheduled for September 23rd to October 7th, 2008. The theme for this year's event is "Celebrating Our Diversity."

Two high-level agencies from South Africa brought missions to Miami-Dade County in response to invitations extended last year.
