If I am interrupted and am unable to continue working on the application, what will happen to the work I have already done?
If you save the application before you step away from the computer, it will be there for you to finish when you return. If you walk away without saving your work and your computer remains inactive for 20 minutes, the system will shut down automatically and you will lose the work you did. Therefore, it is very important to save your work any time you are interrupted.
On the last screen or application page there are two buttons. One button says Save for Later, the other says Submit. If you click on the button that says Save for Later your work will be saved. As long as the recruitment is still open, the application template will be there for you to complete when you return. If the recruitment closes in the interim, the draft application will not be there and you will not be able to apply.
Remember, if the position closes and you have not submitted your application, you will not have an opportunity to apply for the job. You have not applied for a job until you click Submit.
