| I have credentials from schools and universities outside the U.S. What documentation will I need?
All applicants, at the time of the job interview, must show proof that they meet a position's minimum requirements. When a position requires a specific educational background, Miami-Dade County will accept degrees from universities acknowledged by the International Association of Universities (IAU) and the IAU/UNESCO Information Centre on Higher Education. Miami-Dade County relies upon the information in the current edition of the IAU International Handbook of Universities.
