Internship and Volunteer Opportunities

The Miami-Dade Juvenile Services Department serves as a valuable training ground for Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration, Public Policy, Statistics, and Education interns from local and out of town colleges and universities.  The Department also provides meaningful volunteering experiences for students, the elderly, and others interested in learning more about the juvenile justice system. 

JSD experienced staff includes Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and persons with Masters degrees in Business Administration, Public Administration and Social Work.  To learn more about internship and volunteering opportunities at the JSD, contact Jeannette Garcia, Special Projects Coordinator, at 305-755-6238.
