About Us

We serve arrested and at-risk children and their families in Miami-Dade County. We process all arrested juveniles in Miami-Dade County in a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week safe and secure facility. We also support the County's portion of the Guardian Ad Litem, which advocates for the rights and interests of children involved in dependency court proceedings.

Our focus is on properly dealing with issues at the earliest moment. Our Civil Citation Program has a successful completion rate of 83 percent. We partner with Community-based Organizations to provide quarterly Job Development Training and our Trends for Success Boutique outfits youth with free business attire for job interviews.

Other partners in the juvenile justice continuum include law enforcement agencies, public schools, courts, state attorneys and departments of Juvenile Justice and Children and Families.
