Making MAM a lively place for lifelong
learning is at the heart of MAM’s
mission. MAM inspires new ways of seeing and thinking through educational
programs for visitors of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
Since 1996, MAM has served more than 500,000 people through its
educational programming, which makes it the largest art museum education
program in Miami-Dade County
- Teachers and Students
(ages 5 to 18)
MAM offers public and private school tours for K-12 students
and resources for teachers. MAM’s lively, interactive
tours are designed to strengthen the development of visual
literacy and encourage self-expression at every grade
level.
- Youth
Outreach (ages 5 to 18)
MAM in the Neighborhood is a collaboration with community-based organizations
and county agencies to serve youths throughout Miami-Dade County.
- Families
Second Saturdays are Free for Families is a free monthly program that features
fun hands-on activities for children and adults. Second Saturdays also
regularly include live music, storytelling, guided tours, gallery games
and dance performances.
- Adults and Students
(ages 18 and up)
MAM’s programs for adults and college and university students include
lectures, gallery talks and exhibition tours.
- Members
MAM offers a wide array of educational programs as a benefit of membership.
