Mayor Roscoe Warren Municipal Park

Construction is in progress and is expected to be completed later this year. The overall scope of work includes environmental remediation, installation of water and sewer lines, playgrounds, park amenities, storm water facilities, sod pavilions, trees, shrubs and a perimeter fence.

Phase I of the project includes multiple outdoor pavilions, shade structures, a “tot-lot” playground for children ages 2 - 5, a playground for children ages 5 - 12, a basketball, racquetball and tennis complex, a dog park, canoe launch, benches, picnic tables, waste cans, grills, fencing, entrance features, signage, irrigation, landscaping, potable water, sanitation and parking facilities.

Phase II, which focuses on redevelopment of the closed landfill, will include a two-story community building, maintenance facilities, four soccer fields, lighting, additional benches, picnic tables, waste cans, bleacher seating, fencing, irrigation, landscaping, lighted parking and storm water treatment.
