The Byrne/JAG grant cycle is October 1 through September 30 each year.
Byrne/JAG American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
In addition to the yearly Byrne/JAG County pass-through funding, Miami-Dade County also received a Byrne/JAG award under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009, also known as the Stimulus Package. This is a one-time award, with the capability of three one year extensions, making it a potential 4 year project.
The Dade Chiefs Executive Board approved the use of these funds to develop and implement an Automated Arrest Form which will greatly enhance and streamline the Corrections booking process. The project entitled Miami-Dade County Association of Chiefs of Police County Wide Prisoner Processing Project commenced on October 1, 2009. It is anticipated that the project will be completed by 2012.Back to Top Page Last Edited: Thu Feb 16, 2012 2:47:16 PM
