The County Manager’s Urban Fellows Program aims to enrich the learning experiences of graduate students by exposing them to Miami-Dade County’s urban government, with over 50 departments and 30,000 employees.   The non-paid, 12-week work experience will give graduate students the unique opportunity to work on special projects that will impact the efficiency of our operations, the economic development of our county, and in end, the well being of our residents.

The County Manager is committed to the development of future civic leaders, and through the Urban Fellows Program the County anticipates attracting dedicated and innovative students who will make a difference in Miami-Dade County.
