Liga Contra El Cáncer hosts its Fifth Annual "Lourdes P. Aguila Memorial" 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, March 18, 2012 |

The registration fee is $20 and participants may register online at www.firstgiving.com/ligaagainstcancer or by contacting Janet Dueñas at Liga Contra el Cancer at (305) 856-4914. All donations and pledges are tax deductible as allowed by law. The event will be held rain or shine. Registration - 8:30 a.m. Liga Contra El Cáncer The dedication and support of volunteer physicians and on-going assistance of volunteers maintain administrative costs at about 12 percent of operational budgets. The League Against Cancer is the last resort for cancer victims who have no financial resources or health insurance. Since 1975, more than 50,000 low-income, uninsured men, women and children have received world-class medical treatment, screenings and support at the organization's facilities.
