Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez teams up with Winn-Dixie to distribute turkeys for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday

(MIAMI, November 19, 2013) – Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez and Winn-Dixie executives will be distributing turkeys to 600 pre-registered low-income families on Friday, November 22, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40^th Street, in Miami.  The distribution will take place at the west end parking lot facing Bird Road. 

“While the holiday season offers us a time to celebrate with family and friends, it is also a time to share our many blessings with others in our community,” said Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez.  “I am proud to partner with our friends at Winn-Dixie to bring food and holiday cheer to so many families in need.”
