Miami-Dade County to host charter amendment town hall meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m. at Arcola Lakes Library


(MIAMI, April 10, 2014) – Miami-Dade County is hosting a series of town hall meetings, where residents can provide input and ask County staff about the proposed amendment to the Home Rule Charter regarding the Property Appraiser, Legistar 140307, sponsored by Commissioner Esteban Bovo, Jr. Tonight’s meeting is taking place at 6:00 p.m., at the Arcola Lakes Library, 8240 NW 7th Avenue, Miami, FL 33150, 305-694-2707.

On July 7, 2011, the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance 11-44, which states “the County shall hold six public meetings regarding any resolution calling an election on a proposed Home Rule Charter amendment.”
