Miami-Dade County to host final charter amendment town hall meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m. at North Dade Regional Library


(MIAMI, April 15, 2014) – Miami-Dade County is hosting its final town hall meeting, where residents can provide input and ask County staff about the proposed amendment to the Home Rule Charter regarding the Property Appraiser, Legistar 140307, sponsored by Commissioner Esteban Bovo, Jr. Tonight’s meeting is taking place at 6:00 p.m., at the North Dade Regional Library, 2445 NW 183rd Street, Miami, FL 33056, 305-625-6424.

On July 7, 2011, the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance 11-44, which states “the County shall hold six public meetings regarding any resolution calling an election on a proposed Home Rule Charter amendment.”
