Climate Change & Sea Level Rise
Florida is considered one of the most vulnerable areas to climate change, with Southeast Florida especially susceptible to impacts such as rising sea levels. Miami-Dade County has been on the forefront of these issues for many years.
Per the United States Coast Guard data, someone is injured or killed in a boating accident every 2 and a half hours. Similar to learning the “rules of the road,” it is important to be aware of certifications needed to be a safe boater.
