(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez will be in Tallahassee on Wednesday, February 15 and Thursday, February 16. Mayor Gimenez is meeting with elected officials to discuss the County's priority issues including Jackson Health System, County Medicaid contributions, Port Miami's Deep Dredge and pit bull legislation, among others.
"These meetings are an opportunity for elected officials and staff to come together, and speak candidly about the issues that affect Miami-Dade County. I want to thank all of my colleagues for facilitating these discussions, which will ultimately benefit all of the residents of our state," said Mayor Gimenez.
