Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez statement regarding Enrique Ros

(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- I was saddened to learn this morning of the death of Enrique Ros, one of the most respected leaders of the Cuban-American community. A distinguished historian who was known for his strong convictions in support of a free and democratic Cuba, Ros was also the biggest supporter of his daughter, U.S. Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. We will all sorely miss his positive influence on our community.
