(MIAMI, December 22, 2014) – Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez and DJ Irie teamed up once again to host this year’s Mayor’s Annual Toy Drive benefitting the Irie Foundation and the University of Miami Child Protective Team.

“The holidays give us the opportunity to stop and reflect, to give thanks for our blessings, and share them with those who are less fortunate,” said Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez. “I would like to thank everyone that attended this evening of fun that benefitted the great work of the Irie Foundation and the University of Miami Child Protective Team while bringing joy and happiness to children in our community.”
