I would like to invite you to attend the 2009 State of the County address Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater at 10 a.m. During this address, we will be celebrating the strides Miami-Dade County made over the recent year, and outlining our priorities for the coming year.

In these tough economic times, it's easy to overlook the good things - and there are some very good things. From closing a budget gap of $400 million dollars to smoothly pulling-off the biggest Presidential Election in the County's history, we've done some great things.

These are challenging times but we've plans in place to bolster our local economy and assist those in need. Your County government is positing itself to emerge stronger and more efficient. Find out how by attending the 2009 State of the County address.
