    In addition to emergency response services, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) offers a wide variety of non-emergency services:

    Community Outreach
    Learn about MDFR's community outreach programs, including A Safe Haven for Newborns, Public Access to Defibrillation, Elderlinks, MDFR Fire Explorers, the Miami-Dade High School Fire Academy, and find out how you can get involved!

    Event Staffing
    Get information about hiring MDFR personnel and resources for special events and inspection compliance. 

    Fire Permits & Inspections
    Get information about fire inspections and permits, view instructions and checklists for fire inspections and permit applications, download applications, and request inspections. 

    Records & Incident Reports
    Get instructions for requesting records and copies of incident reports, and download applications.

    Training Center
    The complex, built on 11 acres of existing land directly south of the department's headquarters building, will provide a myriad of training opportunities for MDFR personnel as well as public safety personnel from across the region, the nation, and the globe.
