MDFR offers numerous community services designed to teach children, young adults and families about fire prevention and life safety, and to familiarize all residents with our fire rescue operations. A wide range of programs target specific age groups with important safety information delivered through creative and engaging interactive presentations, including station tours, truck demonstrations, youth firesetters intervention, and more. MDFR also invites young adults to explore fire rescue careers through some of our community outreach programs.

Programs for Businesses
Miami-Dade businesses can receive customized presentations designed to address the unique challenges of fire and life safety issues encountered by employees in specific workplace environments, including instruction on how to create, practice and implement an emergency evacuation plan, how to operate a fire extinguisher, and how to handle emergencies in complex occupancies such as hotels and healthcare facilities.
