Critters in Your Back Yard
MDFR's Venom Response Team teaches children about some of the many native and exotic animals that can be found all over Miami-Dade County, and even in their own back yards! Safety is the theme throughout this interactive presentation with real snakes and other critters, which help teach children some tips for avoiding venomous or dangerous animals, and preventing bites or stings. The time alotted is one hour, including a question & answer session.

Teaches fire safety and emergency procedures that all young adults should know when they are babysitting.
Youth Firesetters Intervention
This program assists children and their families by providing educational intervention about the dangers associated with fireplay, and offers interagency referral for young firesetters from age 4 through 15.
