Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) provides professional fire and rescue services outside of regular duty operations.  MDFR's Special Events Bureau coordinates all fire rescue staffing and equipment needs for large-scale events that require life safety protective services. 

On-going and annual events staffed by MDFR include sporting events such as Miami Dolphins football games and Florida Marlins baseball games, cultural events like Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition, and numerous other types of events.

In addition to event services, MDFR is also able to provide the required staffing for assignments at any residential, professional or commercial building when a fire department inspection determines that life safety issues mandate such services.
