The Mounted Patrol Unit performs as a support unit, rendering assistance to patrol officers and investigators while fostering a positive public image. The Mounted Patrol Unit will, upon request through the Communications Bureau or other elements within the Department, respond and assist with searches, search and rescue missions, and crowd control situations.
