The Fiscal Administration Bureau provides departmental fiscal and accounting guidance and controls ensuring compliance with all financial and purchasing County and departmental policies and procedures, and State and Federal guidelines. The Bureau's main functions include coordinating and monitoring all financial activities as well as providing for purchasing, inventory control and supply supporting the department in delivering efficient and effective police services to Miami-Dade County residents.
The Business Management Section consists of Purchasing, Capital Inventory, Inventory & Supply(Quartermaster), and Petty Cash. The Finance Section consists of Accounts Payables and Receivables including Off-Regular Duty, Grants, and the Law Enforcement Trust Fund.
