    Major: Charles Nanney

The Narcotics Bureau conducts criminal investigations of all offenses relating to violations of narcotics and dangerous drugs laws and money laundering. Narcotics investigations are conducted at three levels: Interdiction; major investigations including manufacturing; and street level sales.  The Narcotics Bureau is also charged with the responsibility of investigating narcotics related kidnapping for ransom.

The Tactical Narcotics Team (TNT) is a comprehensive, five-phase program designed to reclaim areas of the County where cycles of drug dealing flourish, by arresting and vigorously prosecuting drug dealers, eliminating environmental conditions that often contribute to the high crime cycle, and educating members of the affected communities in safe methods of assisting the police in maintaining a drug-free low crime environment.

If you wish to report information related to any of the aforementioned violations you may call the Narcotics Bureau, the Communications Bureau at 305 4POLICE (476-5423), or Crime Stoppers at 305 471-TIPS (8477).
