    The Sexual Crimes Bureau is responsible for the coordination of all Departmental activities related to sexual crimes, including but not limited to:

    Sexual Predator and Offender Section
    Responsible for disseminating and maintaining information on all sexual predators and offenders who reside within unincorporated Miami-Dade County.
    Email the  Sexual Predator and Offender Section  if you have any information about about a sexual predator or offender.

    Information regarding Sexual Offenders and Predators effective Dec. 1, 2005

    Miami-Dade County Sexual Offender and Sexual Predator Ordinance

    Sexual Assualt Investigations Section
    Investigates sexual assaults, lewd and lascivious crimes, and unlawful sexual activity with a minor.

    Internet Crimes Against Children Unit
    Analyzes and investigates all Internet Child Pornography crimes and luring or enticement of children online.

    Convicted Offender DNA Non-Compliance Unit
    Responsible for convicted offender research and obtaining court orders, collecting DNA samples, and investigating all sexual crimes cold cases.
     
    Sexual Crimes Clearinghouse
    Provides criminal intelligence, discernable sexual crimes trends and statistics, and provides a common database serving multiple agencies.
