    Preserving our freedoms, protecting Miami-Dade County, we secure our homeland. We will join the unified national effort to secure America. We will support the prevention and deterrence of terrorist attacks and protect against and respond to threats and hazards in Miami-Dade County. We will ensure safe and secure borders, welcome lawful immigrants and visitors, and promote the free-flow of commerce.
