Distinguished Officer(s) Of The Month

The Miami-Dade Police Department recognizes employees for heroic acts or meritorious service through the official Departmental Recognition Program. On a monthly basis, the Departmental Awards Committee selects a Distinguished Officer of the Month from nominations it receives. Director Robert Parker presents awards to the honorees at their respective duty stations.
