The PRACTICUM will be conducted at the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner Department located at 1851 N.W. 10th Avenue (Number One On Bob Hope Road) in Miami, Florida. All sessions begin at 8 A.M. and conclude by 6 P.M. each day. Registration fee is $ 950.00 which includes continental breakfast, lunch every day, and dinner Thursday evening (guest tickets are available @ $ 35 each). A course manual will also be included.
Bring your own computer and camera. Computer disks of WINID and NCIC will be provided.
Who should attend:
This PRACTICUM is an advance course in forensic odontology which is open to all dental and medical professionals as well as members of the legal profession. Because this is a hands on course with close participation between faculty and registrants the registration is limited. The closing date is November 14, 2007.
Accreditation:
This PRACTICUM consists of 24 hours of continuing education credits. A Certificate of Training will be presented to each participant upon completion of the course.
Lodging and Transportation:
Lodging during the PRACTICUM is the responsibility of the registrant. Meals are provided during the seminar and transportation will be provided to the Medical Examiner facility daily from the Airport Marriott Hotel complex at no charge. The Airport Marriott Hotel is convenient to the airport and provides free transportation from the airport. Special rates for this seminar will be available upon receipt of your registration form.

The number of participants will be limited so that there will be many opportunities for interaction between participants and faculty. Bring your own difficult cases for forensic consultation. You may bring your own camera for hands-on training in photographic techniques. You will be supplied with computer discs containing the latest WIN ID program for use on your own computer. Participants will be instructed and guided by a cadre of well known consultants and experts in the field of forensic odontology, odontoglyphics, digital imaging, photography, jurisprudence, mass disaster and computers.
