Life Science Park.

Purpose: The purpose of the Life Science Park is to create synergy in scientific discovery through the expansion of research initiatives across the University of Miami and especially the Miller School of Medicine. The Life Science Park is envisioned to serve as a hub of innovation seeking to advance biotechnology and real world application.
Location: NW 7th Avenue, between NW 17th Street and NW 20th Street, Miami, Florida
Land Parcel: Approximately 7 acres
Square Footage: 1.4 million (projected)
Use Mix Potentials (GSF): Office/conference (725,000); Research (725,000); Retail (77,000)
Timeline: Phase I to begin construction 2009 (projected)
Target Tenants: Large pharmaceuticals (domestic and Inter-American), biotech research and start-ups, University of Miami clinical programs.
