Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee

The CTAC is comprised of private citizens who have been appointed by the MPO Governing Board, two appointees per board member, to ensure that proposed transportation projects are responsive to the community's perceived needs and goals. The CTAC evaluates the recommendations generated during the development of the transportation plan, and serves as a public forum to raise issues pertinent to the process. The CTAC also has subcommittees (see agenda) to deal with specific aspects of transportation planning. Members are appointed from the general public, either by geographic area or because of a special interest in improving transportation in Miami-Dade. Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, and are open to the public. These are held in the Stephen P. Clark Government Center at 111 NW 1st Street, Miami, Florida 33128 under the coordination of Paul Chance, Public Involvement Officer.
