The Transportation Plan Technical Advisory Committee, or TPTAC, provides technical support, via a review process, to the TPC. TPTAC discussions are focused on technical aspects related to the projects.

This committee is composed of representatives of the entities that have TPC voting members and are appointed by the director of each entity. It meets once a month and is open to the public.

These entities include:

Miami-Dade Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM)
Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX)
Miami-Dade Planning & Zoning (MDPZ)
