The Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee, or BPAC, is made up of 22 citizens, who have been appointed by each voting MPO Governing Board member to advise them on bicycle and pedestrian related issues. The BPAC helps to identify opportunities, recommends project and provides input on projects that affect people who walk or ride their bike, in order to make bicycling and walking safe methods of transportation and recreation in Miami-Dade County. See our Fact Sheet.
BPAC meetings are also a forum for discussion of topics brought forward by the general public. Scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm in room 18-3 of the Stephen P. Clark Government Center (111 NW 1 Street, Miami, Florida 33128).
To become a member of the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee contact David Henderson, BPAC Coordinator and Bicycle Pedestrian Specialist, by e-mail or by phone him at 305-375-1647.
