Access to Private Consultants

MPPA administers the County's Management Advisory Consulting Services (MACS) Pool (County Network Only), which provides departments with expedited access to pre-qualified firms in six broad categories through a "mini" competitive process.

The six categories of service are:

1. General Management - to include strategic planning, business planning and other planning initiatives; performance measurement and management; assistance with the Florida Sterling Award process; and facilitation and coaching associated with these initiatives.
    
2. Business Process Improvement and Change Management - to include organizational reviews, process redesign, managed competition and gainsharing assistance, and performance evaluation and improvement.
    
3. Employee Relations  - to include general employment, benefits, and compensation consulting.
    
4. Financial  - to include such areas as accounting, rate and fee studies, and feasibility studies.
    
5. Customer Service - to include development of customer service standards, assessment of service levels, and customer service curriculum development and training.
    
6. Information Technology - to include such areas as technology strategy and cost/benefit analyses of technology initiatives.
