    Continuing Education Courses

    The Miami-Dade County Department of Emergency Management (DEM) will strive to enhance the CERT program by looking for and offering different classes geared towards disaster response and recovery. Some of these classes under consideration are:

     •  National Incident Management System (NIMS)
     •  Stress Management
     •  Traffic control
     •  Damage Assessment
     •  Shelter Management
