    Emergency Evacuation Assistance Program

    Assistance for Agencies

When an evacuation order is given, residents and visitors who are located within the evacuation zone(s) must have the ability to mobilize quickly to assemble necessary supplies and begin their departure, in order to facilitate an orderly, rapid evacuation.  We understand that some residents of Miami-Dade County do not have this ability due to health factors.  The Department of Emergency Management (DEM)  has developed the Emergency Evacuation Assistance Program (EEAP), which is a registry of residents who require assistance when an evacuation is necessary.  If you require assistance with daily activities or are electrically dependent, you may qualify.

**In order to ensure that you receive evacuation assistance in a timely, efficient manner, it is critical that you secure your placement on the EEAP registry before an emergency is imminent.  If you think you qualify for this program, please send in your application as soon as possible, so that our team can process your information now and be ready to assist you in the event of an emergency, without further delay.
