Miami-Dade County Public Schools Evacuation Information

As part of Turkey Point emergency plans, Miami-Dade County Public Schools located in the 10 mile area around the plant may need to be evacuated in the unlikely event of a radiological emergency. Students and teachers in those particular schools will be moved to another Miami-Dade County Public School or host school. If this occurs, parents will be instructed to pick up their children at the host school. Below is a list of the public schools and their host school. Parents whose children attend private schools should check with their child's school for information on their emergency plans.
