The Gun Bounty Program is a countywide initiative aimed at reducing gun violence in Miami-Dade County by targeting people with illegal firearms. Tipsters whose information leads to the arrest of someone with an illegal gun will get a $1000 reward.

Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Alvarez takes a major step in the fight against gun violence by launching the new Gun Bounty Program.
“We are attempting to get guns off the streets by marketing to the very individuals who know exactly where illegal guns are," said Mayor Alvarez.
