Address Blocking
The Property Search function allows access to public information recorded on the tax rolls of Miami-Dade County. However, Florida Statutes 119.071 provides for an exemption from public information to certain agencies and individuals from public records, including but not limited to
-
Active or former law enforcement personnel
-
Correctional and correctional probation officers
-
Certain personnel of the Department of Children and Family Services
-
Certain personnel of the Department of Health
-
Certain personnel of the Department of Revenue
-
Firefighters
-
Judges, including: justices of the Supreme Court, district court of appeal judges, circuit court judges, and county court judges
-
Current or former state attorneys, assistant state attorneys, statewide prosecutors, or assistant statewide prosecutors
-
County and municipal code inspectors and code enforcement officers
-
Spouses and children of all the above
Those individuals who qualify and wish the exemption must:

Fill out the Permanent Address Blocking Form

Provide proof of employment in the eligible agency; such as a copy of your identification badge with the agency's name, or other similar proof
As an alternative, your agency may submit a list of eligible individuals on agency letterhead with their names, addresses, titles, and the parcel identification (folio) number of the property identified with each individual.
