Miami-Dade Property Appraiser's Office Launches Two New Online Search Tools
The Property Appraiser's Office today launched two new features to facilitate internet users searching for property information on the Office's website.
The 'Property Search' feature of the Property Appraiser's website has for several years been the most popular webpage on the Miami-Dade County portal, allowing people with internet access to search property records using a name, address, or folio number.
As of today, the use of the Property Search has been made even easier and more flexible with the launch of a 'mobile-friendly' version of this online tool. People using mobile devices (e.g. smartphones, tablets) will now be able to access the Property Search feature on these devices.
Without downloading any new software, or having to 'sign-in,' users will be able to access the key features of the mobile Property Search including;
- Search by name, address or folio
- Fast access to real property data
- Well organized presentation of information
- Access to map and aerial imagery view
Also available as of today is a new Tangible Personal Property Search Application, which allows users to search our database for assessment information on business properties in Miami-Dade County. Website users can search by folio number, business name or property address to find the following account information:
- Location
- Mailing Address
- Assessment Value
Property Appraiser, Pedro J. Garcia, who in is four-year tenure has pushed for the increased use of information technology in customer service, noted that customer feedback had played an important role in the development of these new online tools. "We will continue to enhance our online systems and look forward to the public's continued support," Mr. Garcia said.
