Haulover Beach Park contains the largest remaining stretch of undeveloped beach front in Miami-Dade County. Situated just a few miles north of Miami Beach, between Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles Beach, this 1.4 mile beach park attracts visitors from around the world most notably for its pristine white sand shores, open ocean surf, beautiful coastal vegetation, and access to recreational activities.Swimming areas are lifeguarded year-round and up-to-date weather and surf conditions are provided. There is also a world-renowned clothing optional beach section that is family oriented and staffed by well trained volunteers who provide information about beach etiquette. Concessions are also available for food/drinks, beach chair and umbrella rentals. Picnic areas with tables and grills can be found throughout the park on a first-come, first-served basis or shelters may be reserved in advance. With access to the Atlantic Ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway and Baker's Haulover Cut there are plenty of opportunities for fishing both on and off-shore. You also won't find a better place to fly a kite on a windy day than with the friendly staff of Skyward Kites, who have been providing families with kite-flying fun for over twenty years. We didn't forget about your four-legged friends! With access to the beach during certain hours on weekends and a bark park open year-round, we're sure that Haulover Beach Park has something to offer for everyone. Tip: during the summer season and on Holiday weekends, peak visitation is on Sundays between 10am-2pm, make sure to plan ahead to avoid traffic and possible parking lot closures.
Electribike Miami is now offering standard and electric bicycle rentals from 10am to 6pm every day of the week. Hourly rentals are available for a ride around the park and surrounding areas. Daily and weekly rentals are available with delivery and pick-up locations outside of the park. Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week and located on the southeast corner of the Bill Bird Marina parking lot.

Clothing Optional BeachLocated on the northern one-third of the beach between lifeguard towers #12 and #16, this family-friendly portion of the beach has been listed as one of the best in the nation to swim and sun-bathe without clothing, featuring beach chair and umbrella rentals, a food and beverage concession and showers conveniently located right on the beach.
Restrooms are also located nearby. Friendly beach ambassadors are available to greet visitors and provide information regarding the do's and don'ts (beach etiquette). Look for them wearing the green safari hats. Entrance is through the Haulover Marine Center (boat ramps) on weekdays and through the north parking lot on weekends and holidays.$6 parking fee, per vehicle ($1 surcharge included).
Open from 8am to sunset, seven days a week and located near the south picnic area. Featuring an enclosure for small dogs (less than 35 lbs.) and large dogs (more than 35 lbs.) with shade trees, picnic tables, drinking fountains for both dogs and their companions, as well as doggie waste bag dispensers and waste containers. There is also plenty of open, grassy space for you and your pet to play catch or run around freely without a leash.
Beach Access (Dogs on the Dunes)
Open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Saturdays and Sundays, in designated beach area near lifeguard tower #3 only. Dogs are welcome with their companions on the portion of the beach directly across from the bark park and accessible through parking lots #3 and #4.
$2 user fee, per vehicle (must have dog in vehicle; cash only).
Dog Obedience Training
Want to turn your dog into a city dog? A city dog is a well behaved dog, wherever in the city it may be - at a vet's office, in the park, walking the streets, or even just at home. Rocco's Pack Pet Services is now offering a series of classes conveniently located at Haulover Park that will not only help you identify triggers for your dog's poor behavior, but also teach you how to best manage your pet in those situations.

FishingFishing spots are available in designated areas along Baker's Haulover Cut and along the shoreline of the Intracoastal Waterway on the bayside. Must have valid fishing license. No fishing allowed in swimming areas or adjacent to marina facilities. Please refer to posted signs.
Fitness ClassesOceanfront Fitness offers a variety of fitness classes in a beautiful outdoor setting near the water. Classes offered include kickboxing, yoga, boot camp, Zumba, and meditation. Classes are held along the water at the Bill Bird Marina entrance.
Kite FlyingRecognized as one of the best places for people to fly kites in South Florida, the open space and ocean breezes of Haulover Beach Park make it the ideal location for flying kites. Skyward Kites has been in operation for over 20 years and boasts the largest selection of kites, windsocks and wind spinners in Miami, from $5 and up; in all shapes and sizes, from diamonds and deltas to Para-foils and box varieties. They can also create a custom kite according to your desired specifications. With the addition of a state-of-the-art, solar-powered concession trailer in 2009, designed and custom-built by owner Dan Ward, the kite shop now also has ice-cream treats and cold drinks available for purchase. Plan your next birthday party or event with kite-flying fun. Open from 10 a.m. to sunset, seven days a week (closed on Christmas Day) and located on the southeast corner of the Bill Bird Marina parking lot.
Marina and Boat LaunchHaulover Beach Park opened the newly renovated Bill Bird Marina in 2010. Featuring a full service marina, with gated entry to 149 wet slips, accommodating vessels from 35' and above. Each slip provides access to electricity and water. The dock master building offers marina patrons a laundry room with coin-operated washers and dryers, vending machines, ice, and restrooms with showers. In addition the marina features a charter fishing fleet, dive boat, fuel dock, pump out station, bait & tackle stores, boat launching ramps, dry storage, boat and jet-ski rentals, boat repairs, and a restaurant.
Picnic Shelter and Multi-Purpose Room RentalsPicnic Shelters
Advanced reservations can be made for the use of picnic shelters located throughout the park. There are two medium-sized shelters with four picnic tables and a barbeque grill each located near the bayside of the park that can accommodate a maximum of 40 people . These shelters are located on the west side of Collins Avenue and can be accessed through parking lot #1. There are also two large-sized shelters with six picnic tables and a barbeque grill each located on the east side of Collins Avenue facing the beach and can be accessed through parking lot #1 and lot #2. Shelters do not have electricity or running water.

The Bill Bird Marina offers an interior space with a maximum capacity of 50 people for meetings, corporate events, baby showers, bridal showers or wedding receptions. Folding tables and chairs are provided. Room includes small kitchenette with sink, microwave, and mini fridge. The room is available to rent seven days a week, from 8am to 5pm. Extended hours may be available seasonally.
