Pool Manager - $17.13 per hour
Minimum age 18 years. One season as Pool/Lake Lifeguard 2 or equivalent is required. Must possess and maintain current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, Lifeguard Training and Water Safety Instructor, provided by the Red Cross, Y.M.C.A. or other nationally recognized aquatic training program. Pool operations experience and pool operator license preferred.
Pool/Lake Lifeguard - $11.70/$12.15/$13.52 per hour
Minimum age 17 years. Vision standard 20/40, each eye uncorrected is required. Must possess and maintain current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Lifeguard Training, provided by the Red Cross, Y.M.C.A. or other nationally recognized aquatic training program. Years of experience and additional certifications determine salary.
Swim Instructor - $12.49 per hour
Minimum age 17 years. Must possess and maintain current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First aid, and Water Safety Instructor provided by the Red Cross, Y.M.C.A. or other nationally recognized other nationally recognized aquatic training program.
Apply in January, February and March 2009. Due to the time involved in the completion of the training, physical examination, and background check, the application process is lengthy.
