Rules Governing the Usage of Parks
While the parks are a place where families and individuals can gather for recreation and enjoyment, it should be remembered that there are some Don’ts that apply:Don’ts!

No dogs are allowed on park property (except those required for handicapped individuals) i.e. “seeing-eye dogs.” The only exception to this rule: Amelia Earhart Park (11900 NW 42 Ave.) This facility has a dedicated enclosed “Dog Park” for patron use.

Glass containers are not allowed.

Alcoholic beverages are permitted in picnic areas only!

Removal or damage to natural resources is prohibited!

Abandonment or feeding of feral animals is prohibited!

No vehicles are allowed off pavement.

No littering.

No overnight parking or camping is allowed!

No vending without a permit!
Unless otherwise posted, the hours of operation for all Miami-Dade County Parks are Sunrise to Sunset, 365 days a year. Exceptions being certain 24 hour launching ramps, marina access and directives issued by Miami-Dade County Government Officials in regards to natural disasters and emergencies.
