How to Help
NAM's Adopt-A-Natural Area Program sponsors numerous volunteer workdays at a variety of Miami-Dade County parks and environmentally endangered land sites, e.g. Matheson Hammock, the Deering Estate, Snapper Creek, Castellow Hammock, Fuchs, Ned Glen, Arch Creek, Kendallwood, Pineshore, Kendall Indian Hammocks, and Vizcaya. As of October 2003, over 3,000 people have donated more than 6,000 hours of volunteer service. To "Adopt-A-Natural Area" or for information on other ways you can help preserve and protect Dade's natural areas you can also call 305-257-0933.
