Miami-Dade Park and Recreation Department was selected a second time by KaBOOM!, a non-profit that helps communities across the country build playgrounds, to receive a new playground, this time at Little River Park, located at 10525 NW 24 Avenue in Miami.

Build Day is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, 2008, starting at 8 a.m. until completion in less than seven hours. People interested in volunteering to help build the playground or in providing food or materials for the volunteers, are encouraged to participate and learn more about the project.
